Product Description
The Expert Eko Matt CEZAR underlay is made from high-quality extruded polystyrene foam (XPS). It effectively levels minor subfloor irregularities, offers high compressive strength, and provides excellent impact sound insulation.
The underlay is supplied in individual boards with a thickness of 3 mm, allowing for easy cutting and fast installation. It is suitable for all types of floating floors, including laminate, vinyl click flooring, engineered wood, and wood-based floors.
Ideal for use with underfloor heating systems.
For additional moisture protection, the use of a vapour barrier foil is recommended.

Manufactured using innovative technology, this underlay features very low thermal resistance, allowing efficient heat transfer into the room. Optional perforations in the base further improve heat distribution from the heating system to the floor surface.
- Walking Sound (Room Acoustics)
Walking noise is generated by footsteps and perceived within the same room. The underlay absorbs and dampens vibrations, improving room acoustics and reducing echo.
- Impact Sound Insulation
Impact sound is transmitted to adjacent or lower rooms. The underlay significantly reduces impact noise, improving acoustic comfort in multi-storey buildings.
- Compensation of Local Subfloor Irregularities
Thanks to its asymmetric structure—one smooth side and one uneven side—the underlay helps compensate for minor subfloor imperfections. This protects the flooring from bending, sagging, and damage to click joints over time.

Storage
Store the underlays in their original packaging, away from organic solvents, excessive heat, and direct sunlight. Protect the packaging from mechanical damage.
Transport
Transport in original packaging in accordance with national transport regulations. Protect the load from mechanical damage and overheating.
For enhanced moisture protection, the use of a vapour barrier foil is recommended.
